Proxxon 38070 Table Saw Description & Features

The Proxxon 38070 FKS/E Table Saw is the perfect saw for detailed projects like picture framing, birdhouses, dollhouses, and more making it a great saw for model builders, cabinet makers, and toy makers. Accurate and straight and perfect for miter and compound cuts, you can cut all types of wood as well as rubber, plastics, cord, non-ferrouis metals, etc.  

All load bearing parts are constructed of die cast aluminum giving this saw secure and sturdy structure. The work table is made of machined aluminum and measures 11.5 x 9.5 inches and can be increased to 19 5/8 inches by use of a built-in extension wing.  The saw includes two miter guages slots along with a miter guage and fence and has an ultra quiet DC motor which produced high torque alon with the Optibelt toothed belt. An electronic speed control gives you the ability to adjust the RPMs from 4400-6600 RPM making it possible for for even the most sensitive items to be cut without overheating.

This Proxxon table saw is great for creating bridges, cross cutting or ripping small lumber useful for manufacturing guitars. It is extremely accurate as well as simple to adjust. It really is powerful enough to cut through rosewood and the kerf on the standard blade is extremely lean which aids in the accuracy you will get from this valuable machine.

I have had this saw for at least a year now and just love it. It is very accurate on the cuts. I like the fence, it is very easy to adjust and stays perfectly strait from one end to the other with out having to adjust both sides. The dust port is a plus, as I use this in my basement for projects. I highly recommend this unit.
